About The Event
Open Block: Love Letters to the Culture is a submission-based open mic centered on this month’s theme.
The night features 10 to 12 performers, each sharing for 2 to 3 minutes. Participants are invited to bring work, pieces, or ideas connected to the theme. Work may be finished or in progress and can take many forms.
Unlike Potluck, Open Block does not include a group discussion or talkback. The focus is on listening and sharing in a focused, flowing format.
At the end of the night, performers who opt in may receive brief feedback or reflection from the group. Participation in critique is optional.
Open Block creates space for many voices, short shares, and collective presence around a shared theme.
